The Profile
Difaf, or “river banks” in Arabic, is a social-enterprise and environmental services bureau developing projects in sectors where reversing negative impact is most needed: water, wastewater, agriculture, energy, and organic waste. Difaf’s technical and social edges bring together a multi-disciplinary team of seasoned experts, inviting complementary capacities to cover a rich mix of services needed for environmental work.

The Outreach
Since it was founded in 2014, Difaf has specialized in the arid and semi-arid climates of the Levant and broader Mediterranean, successfully delivering many impactful development projects for prestigious INGOs clients, UN agencies, and other international donors and programs, while fostering collaborations with European and Mediterranean partners.
